Week 5!!--February 10, 2008
I was checking my e-mail at about 11PM Sunday evening, and I discovered that the DJs before us were not able to make it into the studios. We jumped on the opportunity, starting the show a full half-hour early. Again, we ran a little over time, so the show clocked in around 2:45. It was a very fun show, with a LOT of listeners (thanks again!). At the same time, we really felt like we played a LOT of great music. Download it if you haven't heard it/want to hear it again!

Being that I am currently on a HUGE FZ kick, I just discovered this and figured some of you listeners would be interested. This blog has a TON of links to Zappa bootlegs. A lot of the quality is great, some not so good. Enjoy!

Super Bowl Post Show--February 3rd, 2008
After I basically lost my voice after screaming for the Giants, we came out and had a fantastic show to wrap up a fantastic night!
This was my first crack at recording. I used a program called Total Recorder. Being that I did not pay for the full version, they inserted a loud feedback-like noise spike every few minutes. I edited them all out (plus a few inconvenient silences), but there are short gaps in some of the songs. I'll try to use something else (probably Audacity) next week. Also, I'll try to figure out how to track the show and post it as multiple tracks rather than one, long mp3.
The show clocked in at about 2 hours, 10 minutes. Again, the show before us ran long, so we began the show complaining about them.
In the future, I'll go into more analysis about the songs, but I don't have the time right now.
Highlights:
The Dropper--Medeski, Martin & Wood
Back in the Basement--Page McConnell
Son of Mr. Green Genes--Frank Zappa
China Cat Sunflower--Jazz is Dead
Bo's Blues--New Monsoon
She Don't Use Jelly--The Flaming Lips
The Punk and the Godfather--The Who
Both Springsteen songs
Notes:
Zeeshan was, again, our guest
Hope you enjoyed the PSA under-music
Bruce songs are for JoeV

Welcome!!
Hey everyone!
We've decided to start this blog as a companion to 2 Guys, 1 Mic--our HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL radio show on Penn's WQHS Internet Radio Station. The primary focus of the blog will be to post recorded versions of the show for those of you who can't catch it from 12AM-2AM. We understand that this is very late, and, as a result, are going to try to make the shows available for Download each week. At the same time, we reserve the right to blog about music or whatever else may strike our fancy.
